Scandinavian Airlines SAS operates also cheap flights under name Blue1. Trading of SAS stock has been stopped at the Stockholm Stock Exchange and we are waiting for major news from SAS. SAS has been in financial troubles so bankruptcy is also one alternative.
Modified 30.10.2012; 13.26: SAS announced that it will start major cost cuts and asset sales to avoid bankruptcy. It's negotiating about finance but new finance is conditional to the progress of cost savings and asset sales.
Cheap Flights Sales is THE blog about cheap flights and low cost airlines in Europe. I write about major low cost carriers such as Ryanair, EasyJet and Wizzair and also about smaller niche players in the airline industry.

Ryanair leaves Turku Airport
Ryanair operated cheap flights from Turku Airport Terminal 2 to Brussels Charleroi, Barcelona Gerona, London Stansted and Malaga but unfortunately Ryanair has decided to stop their cheap flights from Turku. Previously Ryanair told that flights will have a winter break but now they have told that flights will not be continued next spring.
In Finland Ryanair operated at Turku, Tampere and Lappeenranta. Flights to Tampere and Lappeenranta continue but number of flights will decrease.
